Today’s take FIVE... many hands make for light work!
Well, that’s what I was taught ... and gasp. Believe the hype. It is true. All good things fell from hard work and commitment to the goal!
Proud of these guys! Yesterday they rolled up their sleeves and pitched in today to lend at hand to our lovely friends at the Compassionate Warehouse here in Victoria, B.C.
This very special group of increíble people have shipped over 500 shipping containers of supplies all over the globe led by a strong vibrant woman named Dell ❤️
They lovingly collect, sort, box and ship everything and the kitchen sink to people around the world in need. There is endless need for us as a sociery to care even more!
I have watched for years as my Grandma, Annie and their sweet friens Ione volunteered weekly to this mission. I watched for years as they packed boxes of necesites for people around the world. I have seen the love that radiates from these people. The power of kindness and the act of loving one another shines though. It is is an honor to be able to give back and do more!
These folks make a difference. We are so proud to be able to help and support with a few extra hands.
“Many hands make for light work” as My Grandpa would say. This work - is this best because of the joy when these items are received. The gratitude for the smallest of things. Giving isn’t work, it’s a gift!
We are so happy to be able to find ways to honor our Grandma and the values she taught me growing up. She led with tremendous example the importance and the need to give back and give often!
